What should I do if I've closed my business?
If you have closed your business, you need to notify the assessor of the change. Even though the business may have closed, the equipment is still assessable. You need to report to the assessor whether you have disposed of the equipment, or whether you still retain the equipment. If you do not report on the disposal of equipment, the assessor will continue to assess you for that equipment. For more information or follow-up questions, Contact the Assessor.
