Julie Patterson-Hunter is retiring December 29 as Clerk of the Board after over 19 years of service in the Board of Supervisors' office.
Patterson-Hunter was appointed to her current position in May 2015. She began her career in Nevada County as a Board Clerk in the Board of Supervisors' office in October 2004, and in March 2012 was promoted to the position of Deputy Clerk to the Board.
"It's time to bid farewell to 19 remarkable years serving the County of Nevada and its incredible community," Patterson-Hunter said. "My heart swells with appreciation for the exceptional team I've had the opportunity to work with, and for the Board of Supervisors' steadfast support. The privilege of being Clerk of the Board since 2015 will be forever cherished."
