About the Inventory

This Inventory of Local Agencies was developed by LAFCo to provide the public with a profile of each of the agencies which provide service in Nevada County. It includes the three cities, the county, and the special districts. It does not include information on school or community college districts. The special districts covered in this directory are listed according to the various types of enabling legislation under which they are formed.

The local agencies presented in this directory are listed alphabetically and according to the various types of services they provide. The directory also includes the agency's address, the person to contact, the membership of the board, the time and location of all regular meetings.
