Psychiatrists at Nevada County Behavioral Health see clients who need the help of a specialist which is considered by state regulations to be those with symptoms of psychosis, mania, and sometimes major mood disorder or a personality disorder.


Clients

Prospective clients sometimes have received crisis services for recent high-risk behavior. Individuals interested in mental health services may contact our main line, 530-265-1437 and ask for the "Access Worker."

Primary Care

Medication Services are often provided to those with a severe mental illness, such as Schizophrenia or Bipolar Disorder. Clients with other mental health problems, who are interested in medication services, are often referred to their Primary Care Physician. Some of the largest Primary Care Clinics in the area include:
