Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI)

CAPI is a state-funded program, which provides monthly cash benefits to aged, blind, and disabled non-citizens who are ineligible for the Social Security Income/State Supplementary Payment (SSI/SSP) program solely due to their immigration status. Nevada County CAPI applications are processed and maintained through Sacramento County. We are happy to help you complete the required paperwork and pass your application along to Sacramento County, or you can contact Sacramento County directly to apply.

Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA)

The Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) program is a cash assistance program for refugees who are not otherwise eligible for any other cash aid. RCA also includes employment and other social services to assist a refugee in becoming self-sufficient. RCA is available to Refugees, Asylees, Cubans/Haitians, Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) holders, certain Humanitarian Parolees, Amerasians, and Certified Victims of Trafficking. Trafficking and Crime Victims Assistance Program (TCVAP)

The Trafficking and Crime Victims Assistance Program (TCVAP) is a state-funded program that provides eligible noncitizen victims of a severe form of human trafficking, domestic violence, or other serious crime, with services such as cash assistance, food benefits, employment, and social services.
