Nevada County Economic Resource Council (NCERC)

The Nevada County Economic Resource Council supports a combination of initiatives to develop, retain, and attract workforce talent and business to Nevada County.  A flourishing and connected business community are the keys to economic growth.  The NCERC will work to establish a positive operating environment for entrepreneurial startups, existing businesses, and new businesses that possess shared alignment with Nevada County’s attributes.

Sierra Business Council (SBC)

Sierra Commons

Founded in 2009, Sierra Commons is the Sierra Nevada’s first co-working space and the only 501c3 non-profit co-working facility in Nevada County. Sierra Commons helps entrepreneurs overcome their fears and embrace success by welcoming people into a supportive community, providing heart-forward business education, and connecting business owners with high-value resources. They provide a highly successful Business Ignitor Course that helps entrepreneurs kick start their businesses, and they offer co-working spaces and a meeting space rental.
